    People here are extremely rude and dont want to help. I came here for a small vacation with (black) friends and we were dancing on the beach. We were told that we cannot dance and we have to put a cover up on, on the beach! Needless to say, i have (had) a clean criminal record, and the police ARRESTED me for literally dancing OFF of the beach, walking to the car. We werent even on the beach anymore. They had the audacity to put on the fine that I was being violent lol. For anyone looking to go here, you will stand out if you're black, and if you're black, you know how uncomfortable that is. I spoke to many people about my experience and almost all of their responses were "duh", you cant go to a small hick town like that and expect to not get in some sort of trouble. I had to pay a fine of $400 !!! (fourth of july weekend, they were trying to get money for the town none the less) Now I have a signature from the money order that I sent, and they are saying that they didnt receive my money order! They said the only thing I can do now is pay another $400! I mean is the town just broke or are they greedy? Seems like both...

  • Review of "Clean Sheets Laundromat with Drop-Off Wash & Fold Service" at Point Pleasant Beach

    Great little spot to get your cloths cleaned & dried. They offer Wash/Fold Service or DIY options. The dryers are well priced (most other laundromats require a minimum of $1.00 to start, not the case here. Nice size dryers. The washers are a bit pricey and they don't have X-large washers but all the machines are modern and very well maintained. Overall this is the cleanest looking laundry place I've seen (maybe ever) And the attendant working there is hard working and very nice. Bottom line: I recommend this place if you are near the shore ⚓ are a local or want to do your laundry in a clean/quiet location. Bonus: They stay open late every day till 9pm which is great !
